Standard Fees

$80 to $160 per 50 - 55  minute session of individual, family or couples therapy. Rates vary depending on insurance coverage or sliding fee schedule.

Accepted Payment Types

Cash, check, and all major credit cards are accepted at Family & Life Counseling.

Insurance Options

Coverage varies greatly, but Family & Life Counseling services are covered in part or in full by most area insurance providers. Please contact your HMO or health insurance plan to learn more about what your plan covers.

Below are some questions that are helpful to ask:

• Do my insurance benefits include mental health services?

• What is the coverage amount per therapy session?

• Will I be required to pay a copay?

• Is there a limit to the number of sessions per year my plan covers?

• What is my deductible (the amount you have to pay before insurance covers costs)?

• Do I need to get approval from my primary care physician?

Cancellation Policy

Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you can’t make your appointment. If you miss your appointment and fail to notify us, you may be responsible for part or all of the unattended session.
